Most things in the culture of Catholics have different meanings but they all are visual representations of something. For example, a rosary is a physical and visual way to follow a prayer. The Catholic church is in many different parts of the world with various types of languages. Typically mass in the united states said in English but sometimes it is in Latin or Spanish. The church I attend sees mass in English. The phrase in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen is used periodically throughout the mass. Also, the phrase God bless is used a lot between Catholics. The interaction in a church is usually peaceful and positive.

Whenever people are conversing in a church setting they usually do not talk about inappropriate subjects or raise their voice at each other. There is a sense of peace. The Catholic faith displays Symbolic culture. Symbolic culture is the ideas associated with a culture group including ways of thinking and ways of behaving. Some examples of symbolic culture in the Catholic faith are, the dove which represents the Holy Spirit, the cross, and A lamb which represents Jesus because he is the lamb of God.
