According to Feller (2017), nursing is a very lucrative profession that requires high qualifications as well as observation of ethics. However, it requires high competent level for a nursing student to get the certificate needed in the job market, and besides a nurse must upgrade his or her level of education in order to compete with other nurses in the job market. For such a profession, education is one of the key factors towards making sure that patient care is improved. In every profession, especially nursing, it is very important to adapt to changes in that field so nurses ought to be encouraged to upgrade their education in order to be highly educated, competent and adapt to the trend that is current in healthcare settings in order to improve patient care. At present, I am pursuing my BSN, and BSN prepared nurses are directly linked with better patient outcomes, being a BSN degree holder, it makes me a better nurse, and gives me credibility, BSN holders have more job opportunities, more opportunities for advancement, more choice over the work environment, and hospitals prefer BSN prepared nurses, especially hospitals that seek magnet recognition (Feller, 2017).

Feller (2017) indicated several options for undergraduate registered nurses in United States and these include clinical nurse manager which entails supervision of day to day activities in care units. As a Nurse Anesthetist, one can work with Anesthesiologist, surgeons, or any medical professionals in order to apply anesthesia to patients who are being operated on. Additionally, labor and delivery nurse educate pregnant women during their prenatal, delivery and post-natal care, based on patient educator, his or her role is to develop educational programs for patients from various care settings. In healthcare setting, chief nursing officers directs staff nurses, and managers. When it comes to critical care nurses, they assess and implement the best care plan for patients in intensive and critical care units. At present,
